Monday Moxie ~ Continuing the Giving of Thanks

"Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend ... when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present - love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure - the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth."

As much as we look forward to the holidays, it's easy to slip back into the stress of every day life and not take the proper time to continually show gratitude for the people and things that we focus on during this time of year. Adopting a daily habit of thanksgiving is simply a matter of practicing what we preach, not one that we are obligated to act upon once or twice a year. Whether through prayer, meditation or random acts of kindness we are able to leave footprints on the hearts of others than are everlasting. These are the actions that truly make us wealthy.
