When I find myself getting bored with something, it's time to mix things up a bit! I'm ready to add a few new features to TCGC. The first of which, Six Degrees of Revelation, is my version of link love.
Why only six?
To be honest, I don't remember and don’t think it had anything to do with that other popular cliché. I have a feeling it may have followed one of my infrequent "moments of extreme clarity"...lol.
What's the real purpose?
I spend a considerable amount of time reading a wide variety of blogs and websites. I often run across information that provides a different perspective, makes me laugh and inspires me. Sometimes, I experience all three simply by reading one post. This feature will be a compilation of them.
Let’s get started with the first installment…
First up, we have Mike Zen’s touching post on the healing power of forgiveness. An often difficult, but extremely necessary course of action, Mike breaks this down in a way we can all relate to.
There’s been quite a buzz about mommy bloggers lately, but what about the dads? Many dads are stepping on the scene with loving insight and genuine concern for their families. Sharing his life and great views, Paul a.k.a Mr. Man, sent us a wake up call though Sunday Thoughts: Why Be Normal?. What a great reminder to always think outside the box and never settle for second best because you’re worth every bit of the best life has for you.
Girl, You Are Not Your Past…the title says it all. Read Stu’s sincere letter to his future wife.
Ladies, you will enjoy the Fab Hair Project, an awesome site for all things hair-related. Created by a true fab chica, Talata, the FHP community is an excellent resource for natural/relaxed hair care tips, product reviews and tips. Join today!
Living Your Best Life: It’s the One You Feed spoke to me at the right time. I know these things to be true, but sometimes you need a reminder. Let me know what you think about this.
And for toots and giggles…
Dark Roasted Blend's Top Office Pranks (parts 2 and 3). Amazing what you can do with sticky notes and foil...lol.
This concludes the first installment of Six Degrees of Revelation, let me know what you think. Who knows, there may be times when there are more than six, the real purpose is really to share and encourage each other. Much love!
