A sista's been a tad bit remiss recently, but not ungrateful. MacDaddy, Stef selected me for the Honest Scrap award and Miz and Keith pinned the Emblem of the Helping Hand on me. Actually, they deserve an award for supporting me, encouraging me, dealing with my rants, making me laugh and cry, sharing insightful perspectives and just being an inspiration to little ol' me.
Each award has rules, so I'll start with the Honest Scrap reward Stef and MacDaddy presented me with last month. I'm supposed to list 10 honest and interesting things about me and honor 7 other bloggers. Being the rule breaker I am and in the interest of time I'm including a link to the Tuesday Taggin' list from last November. And, add a few more for good measure.
~ When I was 6 or so, I took one of my sister's birth control pills...and washed it down the sink. My mom thought I swallowed it and was upset, but I knew better. Believe me, a lot of things went down the sink without her knowing.
~ Many moons ago, I trekked through a Puerto Rican rainforest with a huge Coach handbag. I was fine going down the trail, but C'Dub came to my rescue and carried it back up the steep hill. Why did I take it? Well, before we left the hotel, I won money in the casino but didn't have time to convert it to cash...I know...dumb!
~ If anyone asks you what I'd like as a surprise gift, tell them I'd love to sing (read: lip sync) background with any of the following artists...Eric Roberson, Maysa, Ledisi, Raheem DeVaughn, Jill Scott...ok, since we're honest...whoever will let me on stage!

OMG I would looooooove to be a background singer! I went to Raheem DeVaughn's latest concert, and I was sining along to the background vocals more than the lyrics,.. swaying with them and everything. He has those two guys, but one lady up there would of made it nice..lol
